Join us for our Ray-Ban and Oakley META Day on Saturday, June 20th!

Celebrating the launch of the brand-new Optics collection exclusive to optical practices.

Discover eyewear which does more. Combining iconic styles with built-in smart technology, you will be able to capture photos and videos, take calls, listen to music alongside the ability to describe your surroundings and assist you in day-to-day life.

On the day, we will be joined by the Oakley and Ray-Ban Meta expert who will demonstrate the frames as well as answer any questions you may have.

Although originally for those wanting to do more hands-free social media and connecting with others, we have found they now cover so much more and can provide life-changing support for visually impaired patients as the frame’s capabilities are limitless.

Features of the Generation 2 frames include:

·       Battery life: Gen 2 lasts ~8 hours(active use), roughly double Gen 1 (~4 hours). The Gen 2 charging case provides up to 48 hours of total usage, compared with up to 32 hours for Gen 1.

·       Video & camera: Gen 2 records up to3K (30 fps) for sharper video than Gen 1’s 1080p. Gen 2 also has improved stabilisation and better HDR. Photo resolution is similar at 12MP for both.

·       Audio & microphones: Gen 2 has improved open-ear speakers (more bass) and better noise suppression for calls and voice controls. Gen 1 users sometimes report microphone performance degrading over time.

·       Design & usability: Styling is similar, but Gen 2 is lighter, includes a more visible recording LED for privacy, and has sturdier hinges.

The Optical exclusive frames are also available in different sizes, are adjustable as well as lighter and thinner.
