Clarity | Personal Contact Lens Plan
The CLARITY contact lens package is a supplement to regular health cover. It is an ‘access to care’ service for contact lens related issues and routine contact lens aftercare appointments. It does not protect against eye injury or disease.

Amblyopia
A lazy (amblyopic) eye is one which, although perfectly healthy in appearance inside and out, does not see as well as its fellow eye, even with the best spectacle correction.

Cataracts
Numerous types of cataracts exist, some affecting vision more than others. The most common age-related cataract is the ‘Nuclear Sclerotic’ where the entire lens become yellow. This gives everything a browny haze and can produce large changes in spectacle powers.

Astigmatism
The cornea is the primary light focussing structure of the eye. Ideally the corneal shape should be a regular spherical surface which brings light to a point focus at the retina. Figure 1 shows a regular spherical surface (ignoring aberrations) bringing light to a perfect point focus.

Children's Vision
All children under 16 and everyone under 19, and still in full time education, are entitled to sight tests funded by the government. There is no limit to the number of sight tests each child can have per year as long as there is a clinical need for each examination.
I've always had incredible service at Aaron Optometrists. The level of care they deliver is second to none.
